Beginning the Journey

As someone who was born in the 60's, went to high school in the 80's, and teaching to students born in the 90's, I am woefully unprepared for the technological world they inhabit. As I am trying to adapt to omnipresence of technology, this blog is a documentation of the journey from technological illegal immigrant to a naturalized technological citizen. I cannot hide from technology, so I am going to throw caution to the wind, unpack my fears, and journey to mastering technology to better reach my students in a format they will embrace.

Day 5, per Dr. Z

I loved the Golden Circle. I would like to hijack that and use it for our staff meetings. Maybe if my colleagues stepped back and examined why they are in education, especially in an urban high school, they could come at it with a better attitude. It would be more about the kids and less about how much their jobs were infringing on their lives!
